Child’s Yoga Pose (Balasana)

In this Child’s pose which is also known as Balasana and resting pose; your body will face the floor, knees and hips are bent accordingly. In Yoga, Balasana pose is considered as a simple relaxation pose that will be helpful in relaxing stretch. Very simple yet very important and useful yoga pose has various health benefits.

Procedure of this pose

  • Sit down on your knees and feet with your legs spaced wide apart.
  • Lean frontward and stretch your arms outside.
  • Leave your forehead on the floor, keeping your back flat.
  • Set this position for 5-10 breaths.
