In Hindu religion, we give great admiration and honor to our Guru (academic and spiritual teacher). Guru Purnima<\/em> is the day, when all students (shishya<\/em>) tribute their Guru for their blessing, kindness and support. As today is Guru Purnima<\/em>, I heartily thank all my teachers, mentor, coach, trainer, and everyone who played a small or big part towards the development of my personal and professional life.<\/p>\n

Meaning<\/strong>: Guru is verily the representative of Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva. He creates, sustains knowledge and destroys the weeds of ignorance. I salute such a Guru.<\/p>\n

I just recalled verve sung by Sant Kabira<\/em> to describe the glory of Guru.<\/p>\n

Guru Govind dono khade kake lagu paay
\nBalihari Guru aapki Govind diyo batay.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Meaning:<\/strong> If God in form of Govind and my guru were to appear in front of me at the same time, whose feet should I worship first? He (kabir) answered:<\/em> It has to be my guru’s feet to worship first, because; without Guru how would I recognize the God? !<\/p>\n
