The Seated forward bend pose (which is known as Paschimottanasana in Sanskrit) enables easier rotation of legs, contraction and the expanding of knees, or can say provide high flexibility. This asana is really assists in relaxing of complete body. This pose is also known as stress remover. This seated forward bend pose make you relax and relieve from the stress that can affect negatively to your digestion system.

Procedure of this pose

  • Sit down and keep your legs in front of you.
  • Stay your back flat and hinge forward at the hips and lower your torso.
  • Maintain this position for 5-10 breaths. 

This yoga pose is bit difficult and require good amount of practice and patience to achieve the final stage. If you are not feel any difficulty in initial time, better you don’t put more stress and keep practicing under guidance.
